Mechanics and Electrotechnics Technology Professional High School
The "Mechanics and Electrotechnics Technology Professional"(PGMET) High School in Lovech, Bulgaria, was founded in 1959. The aim is to prepare young people for technical and engineering professions, both in terms of theoretical knowledge and practical experience. The school staff consists of 28 teachers with degrees in the subject areas. There are 250 students in the following subject areas:
- Car mechanics;
- Industrial electronics;
- Information technology;
- Computer networks;
- Electronic transport technology.
PGMET - Lovech strives to positively influence the career development and educational success of students, motivating and encouraging them to improve their knowledge and skills in their chosen professional field.
This project proposal will provide a great opportunity for learners who, by participating in physical and virtual exchanges, will be able to show what they have learnt at school and acquire new knowledge and skills. Furthermore, they will have the chance to improve their foreign language and work on their social and interpersonal skills.
Participation in international exchanges will allow learners to observe new cultures, develop a good understanding of European values and make lasting friendships. Teachers will cooperate with colleagues by exchanging new teaching methods and approaches.

Why this European partner?
The "Mechanics and Electrotechnics Technology Professional" High School in Lovech, Bulgaria, was selected as an institution of excellence in the field of Mechanics, Industrial Electronics, Information Technology and Computer Networks. The decision to organise the LTTA in the field of automation and domotics was based on the expertise of the Institute's teachers in these areas. Learners will be able to enjoy an excellent educational experience thanks to the work of the teachers and assistants who will organise theoretical and practical activities that will develop innovative skills.
